Music your parents listened to when you were a kid

The music our parents listen to really does influence us in such profound ways. When I hear a song that reminds me of my childhood, it invokes memories that are so powerful that they feel like they happened only a few months ago!

I was lucky that my parents had quite different tastes in music, so my early musical influences were very varied. I was fortunate too that my nonno (Italian grandfather) loved music and I was very much influenced by his taste too.

Tell me what music your parents/grandparents listened to. What songs transform you back in time?
