Song lyrics are incredibly powerful. They tap into a profound part of you and can take you back in time to unleash memorable moments: the happy ones and the sad ones and make you relive every emotion you’ve ever experienced.
When you listen to a song that captivates the very thing you’re feeling, it can be overwhelming. You know that you’re not alone in the world and that other people have lived through what you have and are going through the same emotions you are.
The same can be said for songs which have powerful advice in them. The most wise songs are the most basic ones. They simply provide the necessary ingredients to make you think twice about life and realise that you are stronger than you think.
With that theme in mind, I have put together a playlist of songs that I feel give good advice. I’ve taken a snapshot of the lyrics below. If you like what you read, please have a listen to my playlist and really take notice of the words.
As always, I want to hear what you think. I’m sure there are many more songs I can add to this list, so if you have any more suggestions, please let me know and comment below.
Stay musical.

Not really an advice song but I feel that coming from 1975 is still very accurate.
Time from Pink Floyd is one of those songs that make you reflect about reaching adulthood, discovering is not like you thought and really make you see time flies and you should never stop to not feel left behind.
Hey Rafa 🙂
I’ll check that song out now!
